PJPII HSA NEWS!

     Summer has been a busy time planning and organizing events for the upcoming school year and we want to share some important news and dates:

Wednesday, August 27 - 7:00 p.m. 

Meet & Greet! 

     Come to the school hall and bring the family for this casual meet & greet.  Have a chance to meet the principal, teachers, see classrooms, rekindle old friendships and make new ones.

Tuesday, September 2 and Wednesday, September 3

Eat at Jake's Burgers

     Come to Jake's on the Philadelphia Pike and help raise some FUNds for future HSA events.  15% from ALL sales on these dates will go to the PJP HSA.  Please spread the word to your friends, family, and co-workers and we'll see you at Jake's for burgers, fries, shakes, salads, and more!!

Wednesday, September 10 - 7:00 p.m.

Back to School Nite! 

     Join the HSA for a brief presentation before hearing important information from your child's teachers.

Magazine Fundraiser Begins!  

     Over 800 magazines with discounts up to 85% off the cover price are being offered for purchase OR renewal of your current magazines.  PJP HSA will earn 40-50% of the cost of each subscription ordered -- and you can even place your orders (or renew your current subscriptions) ON-LINE!  Keep an eye out for more detailed information and remind your family, friends and co-workers: renew their current subscription through this fundraiser, save some money, and help our school in the process!  Act fast because the fundraiser ends 10/6!

Friday, October 17 - 7:00 p.m.

Ladies Nite Out!  

     Calling all mom's, grandmom's, sisters, and girlfriends...take a night out and enjoy some socializing and shopping (it's not too early to think Christmas).  Vendors of all types will be at the HR Manerchia Hall selling their wares while you enjoy some light refreshments and the company of your girlfriends!  Are you a vendor that might be interested in reserving a table?  Contact Florie Henry, for more information!

• To help parents and teachers acquire a profound appreciation of the ideas of a Catholic education.
• To promote clearer understanding of the mutual educational responsibilities of parents and teachers.
• To encourage both home and school to a greater degree of cooperation in discharging their responsibilities. 
• To provide parents with an avenue for problem-solving.
• To help parents formulate the best possible solution to community and civic problems affecting our children as students of Pope John Paul II Catholic Elementary School.
